Photograph competition

The theme for our first photograph competition of 2021 will be ‘Cambusbarron Life’.  This is open to your own personal interpretation.

How to enter: Please submit photos via email to photos@ccdt.org.uk provide your full name and state whether entering the adult or junior competition.  Feel free to include a caption or description of your photograph.

Closing Date: Midnight on Friday 12th February 2021.  The three shortlisted in the adult and junior categories will be notified by email and displayed on our website as the shortlist within 10 days of the closing date. The winners will be notified by email on 1st March 2021.

The winners’ photographs will receive the honour of being featured on our website home page during 2021.

All junior participants will receive a certificate and shortlisted junior entrants will receive a small prize.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Photos must be taken in Cambusbarron Community Council area.
  2. Entrants can submit as many photos as they wish in JPEGS format.
  3. Entrants must not be professional photographers.
  4. All entries must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe the rights of any other party. The entrants must be the sole owner of copyright in all photographs entered and must have obtained permission of any people featured in the entries or their parents/guardians if children under 16 are featured. Further, entrants must not have breached any laws when taking their photographs.
  5. For health and safety reasons relating to Coronavirus we will only accept JPEGS emailed in, we will not accept hard copies sent through the post.
  6. Board members or employees of the CCDT will not be eligible to enter the photography competition.
  7. Entrants will retain copyright in the photographs that they submit. By entering the competition all entrants grant to the CCDT the right to publish and exhibit their photographs on the CCDT’s website or in any other media in perpetuity. While we make every effort to credit photographers, including in printed reproductions of their work, we cannot guarantee that every use of the photographs will include the photographers’ names.
  8. The CCDT reserves the right to cancel this competition or alter any of the rules at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control.
