Helping Out

We appreciate that volunteering is beneficial for both mental and physical health and we wish for our community to be actively involved in line with our project plans for development and widening use of the woods.
We all want to get the best out of our Gillies Hill Community Woodland and without volunteer work that wouldn’t be possible.

Please register your interest via e-mail here: Contact us.  Volunteer tasks will be allocated based around our work projects.  Due to current restrictions this will be on an individual or per household basis.

Volunteers are also required to help with planning and the research of funding applications, this behind the scenes work is just as vital as the physical work and can be done from home if required.
Contact Jennifer@ccdt.org.uk if you are interested in helping in this way.

Do you have any specialist skills or knowledge to contribute to the work of the woodland or potentially to aid informative guided walks in the future? We’d love to hear from you!
