Volunteer Day 16/4/23

Come and help us in the woodland for a volunteer day.

Lily Pond Project.

This project is on hold for bird nesting season and will resume at the end of August. The Lily Pond Team will be working within the walled garden and around the woodland.

Walled Garden

This project is to reinstate the walled garden into a community growing space and orchard.

Opportunity to drink tea and have a natter and discuss how to develop this Community Growing Space.

1. Mark out central path and construct beds.
2. Clearing brambles below the yew hedge.
3. Clear and prepare growing beds in old greenhouse bases.
4. Build growing beds from recycled plastic.
5. Plan what to plant.
6. Plant willow to construct a willow structure.
