A crossing point has been made over the forwarder tracks to allow easier access into the non felled area of the woods. The access route to the mud kitchen from the Gillies Hill entrance is marked in Blue.
It is Volunteer Day this Saturday 26th March. Please come along to the mud kitchen (near the walled garden) at 10am. (See Map above)

Walled Garden : Setting out growing beds and polytunnel areas / clearing vegetation and brash / General tidying /
Tree Transplanting: Last volunteer day, more than 30 tree saplings were transplanted from the quarry to the Walled Garden. There are lots more to transplant. Bring a spade and bucket if you have them.
Litter Picking : Couple of teams to do general litter picking in the non SPHN woods. (excuse for a walk and a natter)
