The following information concerns voting for Trustees at our AGM on 26th August 2025, and the first meeting of the new Board on 09 September 2025.
It also contains the results of the voting on our Red Squirrel support strategy.
Board Election
Forty votes were received from Members for the Trustees (34 in person, 6 by email). Five candidates were elected as Trustees. These Trustees agreed the following roles at the September Board meeting:

Squirrel Management
A clear majority of the 43 votes received from members supported the humane trapping and killing of Grey Squirrels in the community woodland as part of our strategy to protect the Red Squirrel population in the community woodland. We will now take forward the strategy that is published here: Proposed Strategy to Support our Red Squirrel population.
