The trust’s annual AGM is planned for the 18th August 2026, at 7PM in the Cambusbarron community centre on St Ninians Road. This is a great opportunity to come along and hear the great work that has been done over the past 12 months and to ask any questions you may have. If you are interested in becoming a trustee please notify admin@ccdt.org.uk no later than one week before the AGM date. We look forward to seeing everyone at the meeting in August.
Walled Garden
There have been big changes in the garden in the last few years. We now have another new shed and polytunnel on the way which will increase our produce next year. Watch out for the wasps they seem to like nesting in the green boxes at the shed. Come and look around when you are out and about and you are welcome to join in at our regular gardening sessions.

Woodland Workbase
If you have walked past the woodland workbase at the walled garden recently you will have seen the construction of our new container shelter developing. We hope to have this completed soon and it will offer a significant indoor space for new activities. The fire wood club are heavily involved in the construction every Thursday night but also continue to chop and store fire wood for sale later in the year. If you are interested in fire wood club or just helping with the workbase, please drop us a line, you would be very welcome.
Opportunities to volunteer
Opportunities to volunteerOur volunteering activities are continuing through the summer – please keep an eye on our website and newsletter for details. The walled garden group continues to meet every second Saturday to grow food for the community larder and we will be organizing events to clear Himalayan Balsam and rhododendron regrowth.
