Following storm Arwen last Friday 26th November the Dark Wids are still unsafe and should not be entered.

Message from our Gillies Hill Community Woodland Facebook site:

“Whoa, it’s a fair job making the paths through the Dark Wids safe after Friday’s epic windblow event. In the mean time, I would advise against walking in that part of the woodland and have put up signs to let folk know the paths are closed. The north wind came hard, and Scotland suffered huge windblow across much of her forests. We got off lightly!”
