Well done to the crew working this area to tackle our ponticum enemy every weekend over the last few months, what a difference this has made to open up this area.
Woodfuel Project
Following our successful log processing day last year we would like to run another day producing firewood logs to raise funds to support the development of the woodland. This is from logs which have been seasoning in the walled garden over the past year.
We’re keen to set up another processing day as part of the community woodfuel project and are seeking volunteers to join this project group both in a planning and a processing aspect. If this is something that you are interested in please do get in touch for us to talk about what this entails.
Our processing day requires 6 volunteers – 3 in morning shift and 3 in afternoon shift – and would be on a Saturday in the coming weeks to suit the group that comes together.
