We’re delighted to have our local primary schools and nurseries wishing to get more actively involved in our projects and ideas planning for Gillies Hill Community Woodland.
We hope to continue building links after the summer holidays by setting up focus groups but our initial project is to ask pupils and teaching staff to give us their favourite ideas of what our tree stumps could be carved into. We look forward to updating with the pupils’ thoughts very soon!
Our Woodland Summer Challenge will be released early July to encourage local families to take a wander through our woodland to explore and perhaps even learn something new over the summer holidays!
