Last Sunday, 4th December, the CCDT Events and Education Group ran a Christmas crafts event at the tennis courts in the woods.
The picnic benches turned into crafting tables and tool stations where festive decorations were created from woodland materials.
The weather was dry and fresh and over 30 people came to make reindeer, snowmen, mini wreaths and much more. We used wood such as willow and sycamore, which was chopped during the Lily pond clear up operations.
It was a lovely afternoon enjoying our woods together whilst nature crafting, having a chat and a hot drink.
