Many Hands Make Light Work!

If you were up in the woods this weekend it’s likely you spotted at least some of our amazing volunteers hard at work. We are so grateful for their efforts in developing the woods and making them a better and safer place for wildlife and human visitors.

If you are interested in joining any of our volunteers teams we would love to hear from you. Either stop one of them for a chat (they might appreciate the rest!) or email us at woodland@ccdt.org.uk.

Work at the Walled Garden included digging over the beds and putting up poles for planting espalier trees.

Work continuing at the Lily Pond

Tom and Angus were hard at work fencing off the old mine shaft as a temporary measure to improve safety.

Aldo and Matt were also hard at work up at the castle.

Thank you to all our volunteers!
