SPHN Replanting Community Engagement Morning – Sunday 12th Nov, 1pm – 3pm, Gillies Hill Community Woodland ** Note the change in time **
Join us this Sunday (12th Nov) within Gillies Hill Community Woodland to hear about our exciting plans for the 3-4 year project to re-plant the area of our woodland affected by the 2021/2022 felling works.
Over the coming winter, with the help of community groups and volunteers, we plan to plant around 1,800 trees in the area immediately uphill from the Gillies Hill sheds entrance.
We’d love to speak to you, share our plans so far, and get your views/feedback.
The re-planting team, and other members of our woodland management group will be at the badger carving, approx. 100m up the path from the Gillies Hill sheds entrance from 1pm-3pm.
Come and meet us, and explore the wonderful chainsaw carvings in the area!
